Working with P&ID diagrams gains a new dimension when they can be directly linked to the site’s 3D space. WebPano connects technical documentation with the 3D model and scan-derived data, allowing instant switching between the 2D diagram, the 3D geometry, and the reality captured in the point cloud.

Diagram elements can be linked to the model automatically when the P&ID is uploaded, or manually, directly within WebPano. Navigation works through the diagram, the spatial view, or the element list — selecting any element instantly shows its actual position on the installation. The feature also works without a full 3D model, based solely on a point cloud or mesh model, making it especially useful for brownfield projects and partially modeled facilities.

By integrating P&ID diagrams with spatial data, the team gets a consistent, fully aligned view of the installation — from documentation to real-world condition.
