Zdzieszowice Coking Plant
This challenging project involved scanning an area of a plant located within the Zdzieszowice Coking Plant. The purpose of the project was to provide accurate point cloud information to aid the design of further installations in order to extend production capability. The client specified RGB colour scanning.
300 individual scan locations were recorded. Due to the height of some of the components we employed our Riegl VZ-400 long range scanner.
In addition to the point clouds, we also provided advice and supplied proprietary software to generate narrow point clouds of selected cut out areas in .PTS format to work with the limitations of the clients existing software to read dedicated point cloud formats.
