BIM Model of stores in Milton Keynes
The project scope included 3D laser scanning and 3D modelling of two large-scale stores located at the Kingston Center shopping center in Milton Keynes, Great Britain. This large object required setting up of 320 scanner positions. The project was referenced to the Ordnance Survey National Grid (OSGB36) by GPS survey.
The 3D BIM model of the first building was delivered in native Autodesk Revit software. The project required modelling the structure together with MEP installation at the 3rd Level of Detail. The model of installation (MEP) included cable trays, a complete ventilation system (HVAC) and a protection system. Additionally, the model was textured and rendered. Below we present the results on the online platform.
For the second smaller building 2D documentation was prepared including elevation drawings and cross-sections.
