Creating a BIM model of Grade II-listed Franco-Italianate Mansion in London
The object was Grade II-listed Franco-Italianate Mansion imposing 50,000 sq ft and 3Deling were asked to provide expert assistance throughout the acquisition and development stages of this residence. Presented BIM model is a product we delivered to fulfil this order requirements.
The Mansion originally was built as four grand family homes. Eventually it got knocked into one residence. The client’s scheme for the property was to undertake a wide ranging internal refurbishment and reconfiguration within the existing building structure and facade.
According to orders specyfication, our involvement saw a comprehensive survey carried out and 750 laser scan capture of the immense 45 bedroom, seven-storey property over a short period of time. The combined data-set and 3D point cloud was then used to build an incredibly detailed BIM Revit model of the existing building along with a set of 360 photographic records of the full site and structure provided as Leica Truviews.
